SENIORS:    

Seniors! Applying to college? Your UC and CSU applications are due Nov. 30th! Don’t procrastinate and take advantage of resources to work on your applications.  We will have extended hours the week on November 27th – 30th.

The Chinese American Association of Solano County (CAASC) is hosting its annual scholarship for a graduating senior who has a 3.0 GPA or higher, has 3 letters of rec, and has a strong academic performance, scholastic aptitude, community service, and community involvement. The deadline to apply is December 8th! See your College Advisor for more information!

If you missed the deadline for your senior yearbook photo, Collegiate will be on campus to take your portrait Dec. 8 in the library. 

 Senior Ads are available to be purchased and created on Jostens.com.  Senior Ads are due by Feb. 8, 2024. Please reach out to Mrs. Jones-Elliott if you need assistance.

SPORTS:

Please congratulate Vaea Salt in being ranked the #19 215lb. wrestler in the entire state of California!! Girls rankings have yet to be released. Wildcats will look to start their competitive season in the coming weeks.

Over the Thanksgiving break winners continued to win! The Lady Cats finished with 2 state qualifiers, 4 masters placers and 5 masters qualifiers to end last season. They looked to get their season started off on the right foot and they delivered. The Lady Cats started their season off with a BANG!!! Competing at Tokay’s Goddess of War the team placed 4th out of 55 schools! Led by their Tournament Champion Sophia Villoria and   2nd Place finishes by Josie Mays and Djesire Emerson. The JV girls were led by 2nd place finishes with Kali Daniel, Serenity Bjork and Cass Edralin ~ and a 3rd place finish with Nyima Trevino.

Each year, students from 1.6 thousand high schools audition for a chance to be in California’s Regional and All State Honor Choirs. This year, 9 wildcats made the Regional Honor Choir!!  Ximena Capella-Leggett and Aria Mehta were chosen to perform solos during their professional concert on 11/18! Congratulations to Aria Mehta, Adriane Perdigones, and Jonathan Burton who moved on to the California All-State Honor Choir being held Feb. 1-3 in Sacramento!!

Band & Orchestra Paint Night Fundraiser this Saturday from 6-8pm at 318 Main Street.

 

Yearbook sales are live on Jostens.com. Yearbooks are currently selling for $90.

The 26th Annual Madrigal Dinner featuring the WCW Sylvan Singers will be December 7-9th at Covenant Community Church. Tickets can be purchased online at eventbrite.

Need a place to get work done? Falling behind or want to get ahead? Study Hall is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the Library from 3:45-4:45pm.
 

Our detention system will focus on the following:

1) Students being late to class = Lunch Detention

2) Students out of class w/ no pass/roaming during instruction time = Admin. Detention

ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR THEIR ID's ON CAMPUS.
