The Will C. Wood Kinesiology pathway introduces students to the
fundamental principles of human movement, exercise science, and
the physiological aspects of physical activity. Students learn
how the human body functions during different forms of physical
activity while developing an understanding of the importance of
maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.

As students progress through the pathway, they may have
opportunities to apply the skills they have learned outside
of regular class time.
Students may assist in the WCW therapy room with
injury assessment and rehabilitation or work as
student athletic therapists at Wildcat sporting
events. These experiences give students valuable insight into
Sports Medicine and allow them to practice skills in an authentic
school athletics environment.
