Wood Athletics strives to maximize participation and instill pride in school and community in its student body, alumni, and families. We believe that an interscholastic athletic program provides opportunities for students to develop tools for lifelong personal growth and fulfillment of potential. Furthermore, lifelong participation in physical activity is valuable for physical fitness and mental health.
Wood High School coaches and advisors are dedicated to providing an enriching experience in which physical, mental, and social growth are stimulated through athletic competition.
In partnership with students and parents, the duty of our coaching staff is to assist in fostering success in an honest and sportsmanlike manner by helping teach our student-athletes moral character and citizenship.
